So, one of my good friends is a hardcore Mormon. Anywhoo, she took me to this doughnut party tonight, and every single person there was from her church. I’m Christian, so it’s not like I have a huge problem with them. However, not even thinking, I walked in to the “party” (it was more of just a shindig, really) with exposed shoulders. It took me about two seconds to realize that I should probably put on my sweater …
But that’s not the point. I told my friend that if she dragged me to this wild and crazy Mormon doughnut party, then I was going to speak in an English accent the entire time.
And I did. No one even questioned it.
I feel like I might just have to go out in public and start talking like this from now on. Hm.
